Football with a Strong Mind and Open Heart: My Philosophy as a Global Educator and Professional Coach
For me, football is more than a sport, it is a space for growth, life and continuous learning. As a coach and Global Educator, I truly believe in a methodology that combines talent selection based on merit with empathy, friendship and respect from the social dimension. Integrity in training and the development of a strong, resilient mindset are essential pillars, because in football and in life obstacles will always appear, and the important thing is not to avoid them but to face them with determination and an attitude of constant learning.

Youth and children’s football evolves every day and scientific contributions are invaluable, with thousands of new training proposals emerging that take into account cultural, social, climatic, environmental and ethnic factors. The challenge is to analyze these elements and make the most of them to create flexible, adaptable processes open to continuous improvement. That is why a coach should not only master the variables of football itself, but also learn from other related areas, be self-taught, manage projects, lead by example and absorb knowledge like a sponge, always for the benefit of the team and all those who are part of our environment.
Football is constantly changing and, as Horst Wein used to say, teaching players to think, to question and to ask themselves is essential to develop cognition, decision-making and the ability to solve problems on the pitch and in life. Children and young players need this process to shape their sporting, academic and personal paths, and professional players, even at the highest level, remain human beings with fears, nerves and anxieties who also require processes of learning and guidance.
That is why I believe a coach should never think he knows it all. A true professional is the one who acknowledges mistakes, accepts doubts and remains open to learning again and again. This is my vision of football: a journey lived on the bench, in the stands and in life itself, all for the development of the game and for the good of football worldwide.
